How do I change the event date on my fundraising page?

We can't let people change the event date on their page because we need to give each event in our system one offical date. Events are attached to thousands of fundraising pages, so changing the date on your page would change it on all the other pages attached to that event.

Here are two alternatives for you.

If your page hasn't had any donations yet:

Cancel the page and create a new one with the correct event date.

  1. Click on Your account
  2. Enter your email and password and click on Continue using our secure server
  3. Click on Your fundraising pages
  4. Click on Go next to the page you want to cancel
  5. Scroll down and click on Cancel this page
  6. Go to www.justgiving.com and click on Start fundraising to build a new page

If your page has already had donations:

Let donors know the new event date in your personal message.

  1. Click on Your account
  2. Enter your email address and password and click on Continue using our secure server
  3. Click on Your fundraising pages
  4. Click on Go next to the page you want
  5. Click on Edit your page
  6. Add details of your new event date to your message and click on Save and continue

If you want to paste text from a word document into the personal message box, please paste it into a notepad file first, then copy and paste it from there - see instructions.

Remember to email your updated page to friends and use the Justgiving widget and badges on your websites and blogs!
