Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My personal message:

Hi, thanks for making it this far.

I'll be running a 10k in September - something I've been meaning to do for a while.  Cancer has affected several members of my family, including my mother Eileen who passed away in 2004. 

I would like to dedicate this run to my Godmother, Jean who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.  I hope your thoughts will be with her.

The 10K starts on September 19th, 10:30am in Finsbury Park.  If you feel like joining, entry is only £19.95.

For those of you not running-inclined, please donate whatever you can.  I know it's a cliché, but every little helps. Your donation will improve the lives of the tens of thousands currently affected by cancer, as well as those yet to be affected by it.
