Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

Although a 10k  run is not the 54 mile cycle of London to Brighton (see post event pic), it is for a worthy cause, Cancer Research UK. So please splash the cash!!!! If you can only afford a few quid then that is also gratefully received.

This is the quickest way of sponsoring me and it means I do not have to collect sponsor money either. You are welcome to come see me cross the finish line 14th Sept at Harewood, especially if you come with an alcoholic beverage in-hand!
