Oh me poor old aching legs - I was so glad to see that finishing line (01:34:10) as them steep hills seemed more like mountains to me - I am proud to say that I beat the last person home by 25 minutes!!
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored me Claire x
Together we will beat cancer
For those of you who do not know me, my eldest granddaughter, Bonnie (aged 8) remains firmly in remission from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. To have her run round with me at Race for Life was such an honour - I shall never forget that day - I am so so proud of her!!
I am eternally thankful to Cancer Research UK (their lifesaving research and trial for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) and taking part in Run10k is my way of giving something back to them.
