I know your all bored of seeing these things time after time and you all probably fall into the same category as me in thinking " oh yeah, its there but it probably won't happen to me " well let me hit you with some rather disturbing facts!!....

More than 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.

There are more than a quarter of a million new cases of cancer diagnosed each year in the UK, meaning that every two minutes someone else is diagnosed with cancer in the UK.

now i figured that if everyone who knows me donated £1 thats it just £1 which is more or less the price of a bag of chips  then i would easily hit my target and probably surpass it. Remeber....one day in the not to distant future 1 person in 3 amongst my friends IS going to have do deal with this potentially life changing disease at some stage through thier life, and lets be totally honest would you really miss £1 that much? i think not, and would this £1 really make that much difference? the answer to that is Of Course it would.
