About me - I've been running now at events for the past year and a half and I really enjoy running so it's a bonus that I can do something I really enjoy and raise money for charity!

About the Charity -Cancer is common ? around 285,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the UK.  Cancer Research UK are working hard to improve the understanding of cancer and develop better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.

Cancer Research UK supports scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK, who are working together to investigate all aspects of cancer.  Millions of people have benefited from information provided by Cancer Research UK. They produce information for audiences including cancer patients and their families, the general public and health professionals
