On Sunday 18th October 2009, I will be running 10k for Cancer Research UK at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.

There are around 289,000 new cases of cancer diagnosed each year in the UK, and on average 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. Events like the 10k run are vital in funding Cancer Research UK?s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer.
