We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My personal message:

In Sept 2008 my wonderful uncle Shaun lost his battle with cancel, family and friends took part in the Hampton Court 10K run in memory of a great man and to raise money for Cancer Research. Luckily we found the run less challenging than we thought we would and in memory of a Shaun we decided to make it an annual run.

Throughout Shaun's ordeal he remained cheerful and optimistic and made the doctors and nurses laugh on many occassions.

He is greatly missed by everyone he met.
