Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm running a 10k race on Sunday 17th October in support of Cancer Research, and I'd be really grateful for any donations you may feel able to contribute.
The race is a 10K. The furthest I've managed so far (without stopping ) is about 2 miles?so times that by 3 and that's a 10k race. I think I'll be able to do that!?!
Approximately one in three people develop cancer during their lifetime and over one in four people die, a disease which therefore has the potential to affect all of our lives. Coming from a family of 4, as many do, that is an important statistic for us all to remember.
Over the last few years, I have known many people who have battled with cancer, some who tragically lost their lives, as well as the relatives and friends of cancer sufferers, whose lives have been changed forever.
I am currently training every day and I am hoping to raise as much as I can. It is a cause that has become close to my heart over the last year, a cause which is perhaps so often taken for granted by the wider community and by those unaffected by the disease.
I hope that you will be able to support me!
A deep and heartfelt thank you,
Kay xx
