My personal message:

I must be mad. I've signed up to do a 10k run in just 13 weeks time. The furthest I've ever run is for the bus so this is going to be an interesting challenge.

I'm doing it to raise cash for Cancer Research UK and by the end of my training, not only will I hopefully have made it round the course (eek!) and raised loads for charity (woo!)  but I will have slimmed down enough to begin wedding dress shopping (yay!). So there are two good causes at stake.
