We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I have decided to run the 10k this year in honour of Sid, who just keeps on fighting.

Please sponsor me as that is what's going to keep me going over the last couple of miles.

30/09/2009:  On Saturday morning we received the sad news that Sid had died in the night. He was the bravest, most upbeat, inspiring person I knew. It just makes this cause seem even more significant so please give as generously as you can and hopefully we can help prevent people in the future suffering like Sid did. xx
