Hello,
Thank you for following whichever link you did to bring you here.
This is about Cancer. It's a dreadful disease which has prematurely taken members of my family, friends and colleagues away from their loved ones.
They say that 1 in 3 people will 'be affected' by Cancer (whatever that means).
To me, it seems obvious that all of us are affected by Cancer in one way or another... whether that is watching a loved one suffer, being diagnosed yourself or even just worrying about it: we're all affected.
So, what can we do about it? Stick your head in the sand - or give some money to Cancer Research who are working towards a cure. As an incentive to help get some of that money from you, I'm doing a 10K run in October at Loseley Park in Guildford.

Now, most of my friends know that I've done half marathons, so 10K - pah?! (Hmm) Anyway, if we beat my sponsorship target before the day and I'll do it (sigh) in fancy dress. And I'm going to train hard for a good time too, so you can always give me time bonuses too. :-)
If you?re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Go on. You know it makes sense.
