My personal message:

Hello,

 

Earlier this year in the USA a good friend of mine (Gerry) died within a couple of months of being diagnosed with cancer. I never got a chance to say goodbye being so far away so I'm doing a 10k run (27/09/09) at Hampton Court and raising a few pounds for Cancer Research to mark his passing.

 

Gerry was full of life, much loved and is deeply missed by all who knew him. Any contribution makes a difference to cancer patrients of the future.
