People go missing for a variety of reasons and some don’t feel able to contact their loved ones. These charities help restore contact, work to heal family rifts and try to trace missing people.

The Ireland Fund of Great Britain

The Ireland Fund of Great Britain raises funds to support the vulnerable and elderly Irish in Britain. The Forgotten Irish Campaign launched by patron Peter Sutherland in 2007, aims to provide much needed financial support for the Irish that migrated to Britain in the decades following WWII.

STOP (Trafficking UK)

STOP (Trafficking UK) is a new charity working to support trafficked people and raise awareness of the urgent problem of modern day slavery in the UK. STOP will work to co ordinate the efforts of existing organisations, helping to ensure that victims of trafficking can access services that are appropriate to their needs. These services include (but are not limited to) access to safe housing, medical assistance, legal advice and victim witness co-ordination.
