My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. If you are reading this you are already considering parting with some of your hard earned cash, even if you can only spare £1 it all makes a difference to Cancer Research & the great work that they do. Everybody knows somebody who has been affected by cancer, by giving money to Cancer Research you can help fund their crucial work and hopefully fewer people will suffer in the future as a result.

Running this 10k will be a huge achievement for me, those of you that know me well, will know that this year hasn't been the easiest of years for me. My health hasn't been great since January & I am still undergoing tests in the hope of finding out what is wrong.

While in hospital back in June I realised that life is too short to keep putting things off, so I took up running again after quite a few years. Training hasn't exactly got off to the best of starts, some training days haven't gone ahead as I have been in pain however I did take part in a 5k a few weeks back & it all went well, 10k however is quite a significant jump from doing a 5k but I am very determined. You will all know that I don't give up on something when I get my teeth into it!
